Riverside of Cambridge
The Riverside is located on the banks of the Waikato River at the point where navigation on the river ceased due to the narrowing of the river and start of many rapids. It was the point that the military used as the final unloading station for ships and the area was known as "The Landing".
Accomodation
Set in park-like grounds.We have 34 serviced units. 3 one bedroom units and the rest are studio units. All units have fridge, microwave, toaster and electric jug. The Family units have more cooking facilities. 500m walk to Cambridge town centre; 1km to golf course, studs and attractions; 7km to Lake Karapiro; 9km to Mystery Creek (Fieldays venue).
Weddings
Taking the stress out of your big day is our first priority here at the Riverside of Cambridge.
Located in ambient bush-clad surroundings, the Riverside of Cambridge is an Accommodation facility with Fully Licensed Restaurant, Conference and Function Centre.
We specialise in Weddings and other functions and can cater from 20 to 200 people. It is optional whether both the ceremony and reception are held here, but facilities are available for both. We have a range of menus suited to all occasions.
Conference Facilities
Planning a conference or function? Riverside Motor Lodge & Conference Centre is an ideally located venue for meetings, seminars, conferences, product launches and team building activities. Centrally located in the North Island, in the heart of the Waikato, in picturesque Cambridge, it's just 15 minutes from Hamilton Airport and an hour from Tauranga, Rotorua or Taupo.
Function Center
Our Function Centre has two main dining areas and a fully stocked bar. The main Function Room is used for groups dining and most major events such as weddings. The room will comfortably seat up to 160 people The other room known as The Cambridge Room will seat for dining up to 50 people. Both rooms have bar access. Restaurant is opened for Pre Booked Functions
